Break Away Coupling

This quick coupling is mounted in hose units or between hose and pipe system.

How does the Break Away Coupling work?

• Accident: The hose is being pulled too much, the Break Away will go a part and close tight in both ends
• To prevent spillage of the media eg. oil
• To prevent the media for leaking out into the environment

The coupling is manufactured by Mann-Tek AB in Sweden and is available from 1" to 12" (other sizes on request), it is usually delivered in stainless steel or aluminum, but can of course be supplied in other materials as desired.

Available with either thread (NPT or BSP), flange connection or Victaulic connection, it is compatible with TODO, Avery Hardoll and other.
